With four silver medals, Haacht Brewery has made its mark in all the popular beer categories at the International Beer Challenge.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

For more than twenty years, this prestigious competition in London has been one of the world\u2019s most renowned beer competitions. These medals are a wonderful recognition of Haacht Brewery and its diverse range of high-quality products and innovative service. The International Beer Challenge is a competition that rewards and promotes the world\u2019s best beers. This year, breweries from 40 countries competed in more than 80 categories. The competition thus reflects the diversity of the global beer landscape. Once again this year, Haacht Brewery was among the award-winning beers. <\/p>\n

The organic SUPER 8 Pils<\/strong> immediately won a silver medal in the Lager \u2013 Pils<\/em> category, joining the classic Primus, which <\/strong>also won silver in the same category. This is a great recognition for the newcomer to the SUPER 8 lineup, which was only launched on the Belgian market in March of this year. <\/p>\n

And that’s not all. In the Ale \u2013 Belgian or Continental Style Blonds<\/em> category, Brouwerij Haacht also took home the silver with SUPER 8 Flandrien<\/strong>. Finally, Tongerlo Tripel<\/strong> won silver in the Ale \u2013 Belgian Style Strong Blonds<\/em> category. <\/p>\n

Lien Meeus<\/strong>, Managing Director of Marketing and Communications, explains the success of SUPER 8 Pils and Primus as follows: “Two silver medals in the highly competitive Lager\u2013Pils category demonstrate the high quality of our pilsner and confirm that our expertise is recognized worldwide. Competition in the pilsner category is fierce. We are therefore very proud of these silver medals. In addition, the silver medal for SUPER 8 Flandrien underscores the quality of the playful and innovative SUPER 8 range. We also note that, for the second time this year, a jury of international beer experts has recognized Tongerlo Tripel, which earlier this year won gold as the World\u2019s Best Belgian Tripel at the World Beer Awards. This is a gratifying recognition for our employees, who work hard day in and day out with a focus on quality and innovation.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n
