With four medals, Haacht Brewery has scored in all the popular beer categories at the International Beer Challenge. For more than twenty years, this prestigious competition in London has been one of the world\u2019s most renowned beer competitions. The medals are a wonderful recognition for Haacht Brewery, which offers a diverse range of high-quality products and innovative service. <\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

Primus is named the best lager in the world<\/h4>\n

The competition recognizes and promotes the world\u2019s best beers. This year, breweries from 40 countries competed in more than 80 categories. Once again, Haacht Brewery was among the award-winning products. Primus<\/strong> won the gold medal for the first time in the Lager \u2013 Pils<\/em> category, a wonderful recognition for the brewery\u2019s classic beer. And that\u2019s not all\u2014in addition to this gold medal, Haacht Brewery also took home awards in other categories. In the Ale \u2013 Belgian Continental Style Blonds<\/em> category, Haacht Brewery even swept two awards: a silver medal for Tongerlo Blond<\/strong> and a bronze for SUPER 8 Flandrien<\/strong>. Finally, SUPER 8 IPA<\/strong> won silver in the Ale \u2013 Belgian Style IPA<\/em> category .<\/em> <\/p>\n

With Primus being crowned the world\u2019s best pilsner, it\u2019s clear that the beer is a hit with both beer experts and the general public. Boudewijn van der Kelen<\/strong>, CEO of Brouwerij Haacht, explains Primus\u2019s success: \u201cThe gold medal demonstrates that our classic pilsner is of high quality and that our expertise is recognized worldwide. The distinctive SUPER 8 Flandrien and the hoppy SUPER 8 IPA have already won numerous awards in recent years. Although the SUPER 8 beers have only been around for 5 years, the beers in the series have already been honored 18 times with various prestigious awards. \u201cThe silver medals prove that with these beers\u2014just like the entire SUPER 8 family\u2014we\u2019re succeeding in innovating.
