Emperor Charles (1500–1558) ruled over an empire so vast that the sun never set on it, and he never did so without a keg of beer within reach. In honor of this legendary beer lover, Haacht Brewery brews two imperial top-fermented specialty beers, each with the character and ambition befitting an emperor.
Charles Quint Gold Blonde is a full-bodied, golden-blonde beer with a fruity aroma, a hint of spice, and a dry, slightly bitter finish. Charles Quint Ruby Red is a dark craft beer with copper-red hues and a rich, malty flavor.
